Dr. Paul Turman began as Chancellor of the Nebraska State College System (NSCS) in January of 2019. The Nebraska State College System is comprised of three geographically diverse institutions – Chadron State, Peru State, and Wayne State Colleges. Combined, the three Colleges serve nearly 9,000 students and offer more than 200 degree, certificate and pre-professional programs that are accessible on the campuses, via the Internet and in several locations throughout the state.
The General Counsel and Vice Chancellor for Employee Relations is responsible for legal advice, litigation, personnel, union relations, and contract compliance for the System.
The CFO and Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration is responsible for biennium budget requests, bonding, and legislature inquiries for the System.
The Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs is responsible for academic affairs and programing for the System and is the CCPE liaison.
The Vice Chancellor for Facilities is responsible for facilities and construction projects for the System.
The Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Risk Management is responsible for student affairs, insurance coverage and claims, and risk management for the System.
The CIO provides the vision and strategic, tactical, and operational leadership necessary to ensure that the System Office has the resources (infrastructure and services) and technology solutions to optimize its performance and alignment with the strategic and operational goals of the System.
The Director of Strategic Initiatives and Communications is responsible for media requests, System marketing efforts, website, social media, and special events for the System.
The HR Specialist provides support for human resources, payroll, PeopleAdmin, and workers compensation.
The System Finance Director is responsible for audits, accounting, and tax issues.
The System Budget Director is responsible for budget coordination, benefit and payroll support, and Firefly support for the System.
The Enterprise Data Analyst is responsible for System data coordination and developing reports for the System.
The Director of State and Federal Compliance is responsible for regulatory compliance and training for students, faculty, and staff, as well as managing Title IX complaints.
The Director of Nebraska SMART is responsible for the rural tutoring program.
The System IT Project Manager oversees software implementations across the System.
The Office Manager is responsible for Board Meeting agendas and materials, System Office reports, and the Council of Presidents' agenda and materials for the System.
The Office Associate is responsible for general office coordination, accounting, and IonWave support for the System office.
