Facilities and Projects
The Board of Trustees recognizes the important role of safe and modern facilities in the recruitment and retention of students, and the effective delivery of academic courses, and makes every effort to pursue the necessary funding for facilities.
The NCSC is reliant on state general tax funds for the majority of larger building projects, called capital construction projects. However, revenues from student room and board charges, and fees, fund other necessary construction projects.
The Facilities 8000 policy series defines the various procedures and requirements for facility requests, planning, design, and construction, and are found in the Policy Manual.
The State of Nebraska Capital Construction Budget Request system requires all agencies to submit construction funding requests for a two-year period. The comprehensive NSCS Capital Construction Budget Requests submitted for the most recent two biennia are included here.
