The Chancellor of the Nebraska State College System has appointed Dr. Wendy Waugh as Interim President of Peru State College

Dr. Michael Evans, President of Peru State College, has announced his intention to retire, in a letter addressed to the Chancellor of the Nebraska State College System.

Nebraska SMART is expanding its mission to provide high-quality, free tutoring services to K-12 students across rural Nebraska school districts. 

Governor Jim Pillen has appointed Christopher Jennings to serve as Chadron State College student trustee on the Board of Trustees of the Nebraska State Colleges.

Chadron State, Peru State, and Wayne State Colleges awarded the Nebraska State Colleges Multi-Activity Scholarship to twelve high school students at the NSAA State Soccer Championships. 

Governor Pillen has appointed Braxton Dalton of Wayne State; Alec Langan of Chadron State; and Cayla Schuster of Peru State to serve as student trustees on the Board of Trustees of the Nebraska State Colleges.

The Board of Trustees has selected Dr. Kathi Nehls as the 2024 Teaching Excellence Award recipient for the Nebraska State College System.
